What the site does

PapeleoYa is an online platform that offers:

• A sworn translation service provided through independent sworn translators and interpreters appointed by the Spanish Ministry of Foreign Affairs, European Union and Cooperation (MAEC).
• Personalised checklists for Spanish immigration procedures, generated by rules from the answers you give.
• Free calculators (fees, financial means) and informational content.
• A directory of lawyers and gestorías.

PapeleoYa is not a law firm

PapeleoYa is not a law firm or a gestoría and does not give legal advice. Our content, calculators and checklists are general information and are no substitute for advice from a qualified professional who knows your case. Spanish immigration rules change often: we review our content and show when it was last updated, but always check requirements and fees on the official websites before filing.

Sworn translations are carried out, signed and certified by the independent sworn translator assigned to each order, who is responsible for their content under the rules of the profession.

Directory and advertising

Profiles of lawyers and gestorías in the directory are advertisements paid for by the professionals themselves through a flat-fee subscription. They are clearly labelled "Publicidad" (advertising). PapeleoYa does not charge any per-client commission, does not share in the professionals' fees and does not recommend one advertiser over another. Each professional is solely responsible for the services they provide and for the accuracy of their listing.

Intellectual and industrial property

The texts, designs, logos, code and other elements of the site belong to DeadcowLabs, Inc. or are used with their owners' permission. You may view them and share links to them, but you may not reproduce, distribute or adapt them for commercial purposes without prior written permission. Short quotations with a link to the source are allowed.

Legal texts and official documents we link to belong to the bodies that publish them.

Using the site

You agree to use the site lawfully and not to:

• Introduce viruses, malware or any code that could harm the site or other users.
• Try to access restricted areas, other users' accounts or documents that are not yours.
• Upload third parties' documents without being authorised to do so.
• Scrape content in bulk by automated means.

Links to third-party sites

The site links to official and third-party pages (the BOE, ministries, electronic offices and others) so that you can check the sources. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content or availability.

We work to keep the information accurate and up to date, but we cannot guarantee that it is error-free or that the site will always be available. DeadcowLabs, Inc. is not liable for decisions you make based solely on the site's informational content. This does not limit any liability the law imposes in relation to services you have bought.
